With a great tagline and scripts from Detroit advertising agency, SMZ, we were off and running in pursuit of comedy gold. Community Choice Credit Union wanted attention online, and so they turned up the ridiculous nature of “loosing one’s shirt at the bank” and crafted two hilarious ads. Squint was able to bring this vision to life, and the final result was both effective in meeting business results, as well as winning multiple video content awards.

We had a blast creating our “shirt storm” for this unique breaking weather update. And who doesn’t love weather man humor? Lucky for us, we found a cast that nailed it, and brought the funny for the Detroit area.
Going shirtless isn’t for every credit union, but the folks at Community Choice Credit Union knew that the way to get attention was to “go big or go home.” This series of spots has won multiple awards and become a lasting campaign for the brand.
